Our method β€” 7 steps

1

Inspection (5 minutes)

Brand, model, real condition. We count burners (>4 = surcharge confirmed before any change of service or price). Access, water, space validated.

2

Work zone prep

Spill berm installed, shop-vac ready, hose connected. We protect your patio, deck, plants. We control the work zone and do our best to leave the space clean after the service.

3

Controlled disassembly

Grates, sear plates, grease pan, burners if safe. Seized, corroded or fragile parts: we don't force, we work around and tell you.

4

Deep cleaning

Biodegradable Hawco degreaser, two applications on tough greasy zones, intensive brushing, controlled dwell time. We come back to corners.

5

Firebox, hood, burners

Least glamorous, most valuable part. We deep-degrease the cookbox, hood interior, clean accessible burners.

6

Exterior & finishing

Stainless with the grain, microfiber, product per material. Handles, knobs, panels. No aggressive products on porcelain or paint.

7

Reassembly and photos

Reassembled, basic function check when safe, before / after photos. We explain what we saw, what we recommend, what to watch for.

Duration & logistics

3 to 4 hours on site

If we go over time

If we go past 4h, we stop, we tell you, and offer to either stay within the Cleaning package limits or step up to the Restoration package if the BBQ state warrants. No price change without your approval.

Compared to other packages

The Cleaning package is the balance between fair price and serious result. If your BBQ is 10+ years old and neglected for multiple seasons, the Restoration package from $399 goes further with multiple passes and more detailed finishing. But for most BBQs after a season or two of neglect, Cleaning is plenty.

Frequently asked questions

What's the real difference between Maintenance and Cleaning? +
Maintenance is light cleaning with inspection β€” ideal for season prep. The Cleaning package is a real, more thorough annual cleaning: pre-scraping, two degreaser applications when needed on stubborn zones, intensive brushing, comes back to corners. Steam may be used as needed on compatible components, depending on the BBQ's condition and materials. For a BBQ used all summer without serious cleaning, Maintenance won't lift baked grease β€” the Cleaning package is built for that.
Is steam included in the Cleaning package? +
Steam may be used as needed on compatible components, depending on the BBQ's condition, materials and the technician's judgment. It isn't promised systematically, because it isn't always necessary or appropriate.
Do you guarantee a "like-new" result? +
No. We don't promise "like-new", "100% guaranteed" or showroom-finish results. Our goal is to make your BBQ cleaner and more pleasant to use, and to help you better maintain the equipment by identifying parts to watch. A BBQ with two seasons of use will come out spectacular with the Cleaning package. A BBQ with 8 years of baked carbon will never look new β€” but we can bring it to a much cleaner state. We're honest about limits up front.
How long does the result last? +
If you use your BBQ 1–2Γ— per week, a Cleaning package holds well until next season. If you use it 4–5Γ— per week or cook fatty (ribs, brisket), a mid-season service can pay off β€” often a Maintenance package is enough at that point.
Do you clean charcoal BBQs, smokers or kamados? +
Depending on the model, yes. Send us a photo, we'll confirm. Some smokers/kamados need a different approach and a custom price.
How do we pay? +
Credit card, Interac e-transfer, or cash on site. Invoice emailed. Taxes extra.
What if my BBQ needs repair during the cleaning? +
We notice it as we work and tell you before leaving. The repair itself isn't included β€” that's our Diagnostic & Repair service ($99 for on-site diagnostic, parts + labor extra if you proceed). If a revisit is needed to install parts, only parts and labor are billed. When possible, we combine the diagnostic with a cleaning to save you a trip.

Ready for a real deep clean?

The Cleaning package is our recommended one for a reason: balance between fair price and serious result, with steam as needed on compatible components.
