βœ“ Who it's for

  • βœ“ Your BBQ is 8+ years old and has been neglected for multiple seasons.
  • βœ“ It's a premium BBQ: Napoleon Prestige, Weber Summit, Lynx, DCS, Twin Eagles, Viking, Fire Magic.
  • βœ“ Grease is baked-and-rebaked, sear plates are black, burners are no longer uniform.
  • βœ“ You want a more advanced restoration and clear recommendations before considering replacement.
  • βœ“ You value your BBQ and want to assess whether it can be brought back to better condition before considering replacement.

βœ— This package isn't for you if

  • BBQ 1–3 years old, reasonably maintained.

    Cleaning package at $299

  • You just want season prep.

    Maintenance package at $199

What's included

Everything in the Cleaning package, plus

  • βœ“ More detailed visual inspection
  • βœ“ Deeper disassembly if safe β€” seized, corroded or fragile parts not forced
  • βœ“ Basic function check when safe and applicable
  • βœ“ Extensive before photos (10–15+ angles, minimum exterior + interior)

Advanced cleaning with multiple passes

  • βœ“ Multiple degreaser applications when needed on the most soiled zones
  • βœ“ Extended controlled dwell time
  • βœ“ Longer, more meticulous brushing/scrubbing
  • βœ“ Systematic return to tough zones

Steam as needed on compatible components

  • βœ“ High-temperature steam generator used when needed and appropriate, on compatible components
  • βœ“ Helps lift baked grease that resists degreaser alone, when relevant
  • βœ“ No additional chemicals in the cookbox when steam is used
  • βœ“ Adapted by material (stainless, cast iron, enameled cast iron, porcelain, painted steel) β€” not applied systematically to the whole BBQ

Advanced finishing

  • βœ“ Detailed stainless finish with polishing when material allows
  • βœ“ Meticulous cleaning of accessible components (knobs, badges, handles, panels)
  • βœ“ Deeper venturi and orifice inspection
  • βœ“ Detailed parts recommendations (current state, next ones to replace)

Documentation & report

  • βœ“ Extensive after photos (10–15+ angles, minimum exterior + interior)
  • βœ“ Written summary report emailed after service
  • βœ“ List of observations (worn parts, future maintenance recommendations)
  • βœ“ General observations on the BBQ's condition and parts to watch

What's not included

  • β€” Repairs β€” we identify parts to replace, we don't replace them in this package
  • β€” Replacement parts (new burners, new sear plates, new grates)
  • β€” Welding, painting, rusted metal restoration
  • β€” Work on regulated gas installations
  • β€” "Like-new", "100% guaranteed" or showroom-finish promises β€” a 15-year-old BBQ will never look new, but the service can offer significant visual improvement when the materials' condition allows.
  • β€” Disassembly of gas-related components (regulator, valves) β€” that's diagnostic, not cleaning
  • β€” BBQs with major structural damage (rust perforation, cracked firebox) β€” we evaluate before proceeding

Our method β€” 7 steps

1

Detailed inspection (10–15 minutes)

We take time to properly assess the BBQ's real condition. Brand, model, approximate age, buildup, critical parts. We confirm feasibility before starting.

2

Reinforced work zone prep

Spill berm + additional mats. Steam generator set up. High-capacity wet shop-vac ready. Reinforced protection of sensitive surfaces.

3

Deep disassembly

All accessible components removed: grates, sear plates, burners, drip tray, heat shields. We go further than other packages, but we never force a corroded part.

4

Advanced degreasing + steam as needed

Multi-pass degreaser when needed. Steam applied as needed on compatible components (firebox, hood interior, etc.) depending on the BBQ's condition and materials. Controlled dwell time. Meticulous brushing.

5

Individual components

Every grate, every sear plate, every burner treated individually. Detailed inspection. We document each part's condition.

6

Aesthetic finishing

Stainless polished with the grain (per material). Knobs and handles detailed. Badges cleaned without aggressive products. Best possible overall finish.

7

Reassembly, function check, report

Reassembled with care. Basic function check when safe and applicable. Extensive before / after photos. Written summary report emailed after service with general observations and recommendations.

Duration & logistics

5 to 7+ hours on site

If we go over time

The Restoration package takes the time needed to do it right. For an extremely neglected BBQ, we may suggest splitting into two visits. Any special condition (very large, built-in, commercial BBQ) may require a custom estimate β€” confirmed before any change of service or price.

On-site requirements

  • β€’ Access to the BBQ without stairs (or minimal)
  • β€’ Minimum 8 ft Γ— 8 ft work space (ideally 10 Γ— 10)
  • β€’ Functional outdoor faucet access
  • β€’ Electrical access recommended for steam generator
  • β€’ Adequate surface for spill berm and disassembled components
  • β€’ Pre-evaluation on site possible for built-in or complex BBQs

Possible surcharges

Any surcharge is confirmed with you before being applied. No surprise invoices.

Compared to other packages

The Restoration package is our highest level. If your BBQ is 5 years or less and has been maintained, you probably don't need it β€” the Cleaning package is enough. But for a premium 8–15-year-old BBQ that's lived multiple seasons without serious cleaning, it's the option that helps save it.

Frequently asked questions

Why does this package cost more? +
Because we add multiple degreaser passes, steam as needed on compatible components, more detailed finishing and a summary report. That's 5–7+ hours of on-site work vs 3–4h for the Cleaning package. For very large, built-in or commercial BBQs, we can do a pre-evaluation and confirm a custom price before proceeding.
Do you guarantee "like-new"? +
No. We don't promise "like-new", "100% guaranteed" or showroom-finish results. A BBQ with 10–15 years of baked carbon, scratches, patina will never look new β€” and that's OK. What the Restoration package can offer is significant visual improvement when the materials' condition allows: bringing the BBQ to the cleanest state reasonably possible given its age, material and condition. You'll be surprised by the result, but you won't have a new BBQ β€” you'll have your BBQ, much more pleasant to use.
My 15-year-old Napoleon Prestige β€” worth saving or should I replace? +
Depends on condition. A well-built Napoleon Prestige can often last 18–20 years with serious maintenance and replacement of critical parts (burners, sear plates, igniters). The Restoration package gives you a clear answer: we document everything, give honest opinion. If Restoration + needed parts exceeds 50% of a new equivalent BBQ, we tell you straight up.
How long does the result last? +
With regular maintenance after (a Cleaning or even Maintenance package each season), the Restoration result can hold 3–5 years before another restoration is needed. Without maintenance, more like 12–18 months before grease seriously rebuilds.
Do you take outdoor kitchens and built-in BBQs? +
By evaluation. Built-in BBQs need a different approach since they can't be moved and we work in tight quarters. We come for an on-site evaluation, confirm feasibility, give a price before proceeding.
How many parts will I need to replace after Restoration? +
Variable. On a 10+ year premium BBQ, it's common to need 1–2 burner replacements, sometimes igniters, sometimes sear plates if too rusted. The summary report gives you the exact list. The Restoration itself doesn't include parts β€” that's the Diagnostic & Repair service ($99 + taxes, or $49 + taxes when added to a cleaning). Parts, repairs and additional labor are billed separately. If a second visit is required to install the part, installation is billed starting at $99 + taxes, parts extra. An estimate is confirmed before proceeding.
Do you work on commercial or restaurant BBQs? +
By evaluation. Commercial BBQs have different sanitary and frequency requirements than residential. We can work with restaurants, food trucks, and multi-unit properties, but rate and frequency are by quote. Reach out to discuss.

Save your premium BBQ.

The Restoration package is our highest level. Multiple passes, steam as needed on compatible components, detailed finish, photos and summary report. For the BBQ you want to save, not replace.
